Audition information
Unlike many theater programs, stageGR auditions are low-pressure. There are no cuts! Instead, we limit the number of registrations; first-come, first-served. If you are registered, you are in the production!
Remember, the purpose of auditioning for a stageGR production is not to determine whether you will be in the show, but to identify what role is best suited for your vocal and acting range.
No resume is required, but all students must be pre-registered. Tuition is collected at the time of registration via credit card, or you can indicate you will pay at the audition using cash or check.
On audition day, please be prepared to sing 20-60 seconds of any musical theater song, a'capella. At auditions, callbacks and rehearsals, wear comfortable, modest clothing that you can easily move and dance in. Most of all, prepare to have fun.
